Here is what people have to say at length:

  • "I would whole heartedly recommend Mary R. for any child care position. Mary was a night nanny for my newborn son, X, from the time he was a couple weeks old until he was about 4 months old. Mary also helped babysit X during the day time hours on numerous occasions, and also assisted with watching his two older brothers X (4 years old) and X (2 years old). There are several reasons why I would recommend Mary for any prospective childcare position. First and foremost, Mary is undoubtedly qualified to care for children of any age. Mary’s many years of experience caring for children of all ages, as well as her credentials that she worked hard to earn (such has her Newborn Care Specialist certification), both illustrate this point. Second, and just as important, Mary possesses the personality traits and overall demeanor that all parents desire when looking for caretakers for their children. Immediately upon meeting Mary, I felt comfortable and at ease. She has a presence that makes both parents as well as children feel safe and calm. She has confident and kind. Mary also has a “silly side” that I was able to observe while she watched X. I heard her singing, doing silly voices, and truly engaging X in whatever she was playing with him, which made me feel so happy. Third, as a parent, I felt that Mary genuinely cared for my children’s wellbeing and safety, and being a nanny was not just another “9 to 5 job” for her. She frequently checked in on my children (and still does to this day) when they were sick, and even showed up to watch X overnight when we were worried he may have contracted covid on one occasion and hand foot and mouth on another occasion. Mary truly goes above and beyond what is required of a nanny or babysitter. If there are any questions that you have, please feel free to reach out."

  • "I was connected to Mary when my little girl was less than 2 months old. We didn't have a whole lot of support and were very overwhelmed as first time parents between postpartum c-section recovery and navigating pandemic parenting and just having a tiny human to care for. Mary came over and the first thing she said was "Mama, I got this, go for a walk for 20 minutes, you need this." And that set the tone. She went to work immediately, was always on time, and a great communicator. She helped us with some great newborn tips, a killer swaddle, taking on some baby tasks, and even helped us formulate more of a steady routine for all of us to be able to rest more. She showed my daughter so much love and gentleness and fit right into my household. And most importantly she took our health and safety seriously. I believe she will leave any family more supported and knowledgeable than they start."
