Do you accept Medicaid/Apple Health?

Yes! As of March 20, 2025, I was approved as a Washington State Certified Doula and accept Medicaid/Apple Health which does cover both birth and postpartum doula services, and I’m so excited to be part of that support system. I am also a Certified Postpartum Doula with ProDoula and can take specialty insurances such as Carrot Fertility, and assist with Microsoft, Uber, and other reimbursement programs.

What does a Doula do?

Think of me as your grounding presence. I offer hands-on comfort, emotional support, and evidence-based info before, during, and after birth. I don’t come in with an agenda. I show up for you, however, your experience unfolds. Whether it’s breathing with you through contractions, holding space during a hard moment, or helping you make sense of all the choices. I'm there to walk with you, not lead for you.

Do you perform any physical examinations?

Nope! I’m not a doctor or midwife. I don’t do clinical tasks like cervical checks, diagnoses, or prescriptions. But I can help you prep for appointments, come with you if that feels supportive, and guide you in creating your birth or postpartum plan. I’m a calm, holistic support person who holds the bigger picture with you.
